This is a private tour that includes about 3 hours of free time on Miyajima and transportation to your preferred transportation hub around Iwakuni. Itsukushima Shrine is said to have been founded in 593, and it was Taira no Kiyomori, a powerful man at the time, who built it to its current size using the Shinden-zukuri style. In addition to worshiping at the shrine, be sure to enjoy Miyajima’s local specialties, such as its famous oysters, conger eel, and momiji manju.
